“We were on a massive high after Croft, with two wins and two top-five finishes, so was feeling very confident going to Silverstone with this behind us.
“We started P16 for race one, finished 9th overall and P2 in the Pro-Am class which was mega. We could see the pace was there again and the confidence also for race two. Unfortunately, in race two, we experienced a failure with the driveshaft. We didn’t even do the warm-up lap – I pulled off the grid and the driveshaft went which was such a shame because I believe we had the pace to win that race, as we were going into it with a brand new set of tyres.
“We’re of course very happy to come away with 2nd, however, the DNF made for a frustrating weekend as it was one to try and pull back some points for the championship. But it’s just one of those things, it’s motorsport! But we move onto Donington, feeling positive with the target now to go for four straight wins for the last races. Massive thanks again to Team HARD. Adam Wilcox, and all of my sponsors who came down over the weekend to support me.”

“Well, what a weekend! Silverstone has been a fantastic one; bringing in a pole position, 2nd place, and our first win! Having worked hard to make sure we were ready and prepared for the weekend, the car ran faultlessly throughout all the races. I can’t thank Team HARD., Adam Wilcox, Evolution, Grayson Pace, Puffin Solutions, and my family enough for all of the dedication and support you have put my way.
“I can’t wait for Donington next weekend, and I’m hoping to carry on with our results – here’s to many more!”
