Team HARD. Racing are very pleased to confirm that this weekend will see another championship added to their busy programme with their debut in the GT Cup Championship rounds at Brands Hatch.
Team owner Tony Gilham said ” Adam came on board last season and has proven to be a very capable driver in a variety of machinery. This weekend he will be in familiar surroundings as he will be at the wheel of a Ginetta G55 cup car which he raced only last weekend to a win in the Britcar Endurance Championship. Adam is a great lad and to be able to continue working with him in yet another new championship to Team HARD. is great for everyone involved. I’m sure he will be pushing towards the front as he continues his championship bid.”
Adam has enjoyed a great relationship with the team over the last year or so and we have seen his progression all the way to British GT as well as debuting the Toyota Avensis BTCC car in Britcar at Oulton Park. This weekend Adam will be racing alongside his regular driver Chris Murphy who himself will be racing a Ginetta for the first time.
Adam said ” I am delighted to have been able to sort out a last-minute drive with Team HARD. for this weekend’s Gt Cup round at Brands. After realising the Aston Martin wouldn’t be available it would have been a real shame to have to sit out following the great start we had at round one. To continue in the championship is great news and thanks to Team HARD. for making that possible. It’s also going to be great to bring my regular partner Chris Murphy along with me for him to sample another GT4 car in the Ginetta G55.”
Chris will be new to the Ginetta and Team HARD. but I’m sure he will get to grips with the car very quickly and enjoy the whole experience with a new team. Alongside Adam, Chris will be a force to be reckoned with for sure.
